The Project
The related issues of smart cities and of the digitalization of public administration are not fresh topics: they have already been targeted by an ocean of literature, whether scientific, sociological, economic, and so on.
By contrast, their coverage by legal research and legal discussion remains relatively limited, although any approximation to them swiftly shows that their legal aspects are sometimes clearly strategic.
The aim of our project is to gather into a rather informal network people -academics and practitioners- who are willing to explore the smart cities and digital administration issues as lawyers – while in the same time open to other approaches since it is certainly impossible to grasp efficiently these issues when remaining in a pure legal vision – and who are ready to discuss them in an informal club of colleagues.
